The Fibonacci spiral is very evident running through the fruit and continuing up into the leaves.
Many people like to see the warm colours in the pineapple not knowing that this is a sign of the fruit degenerating. The pineapples are cut when they are green and ripe, but start the dying process on the way to our shops.
I used six pineapple to paint this picture and each one tasted as delicious as the previous one! Botanical art sometimes has its benefits!
