This plant grew in my garden on the south coast of England. It added such a bright, sunny touch even on a rainy day.
The down side to the plant was the fruit, although I found them intriguing. They are covered with stiff hairy hooks that can easily embed into your hand if not careful. This added another dimension to the painting as the whole plant comprises different textures.
