Malus x scheideckeri “Red Jade” Crab apple is a beautiful ‘weeping’ crab apple tree with stripey dark pink and white blossom resulting in tiny sparkling red crab apples in the late summer/autumn.

Although the tree blossomed about the same time as the other crabapple trees, the tiny fruit were ripe slightly earlier than the other six trees. As with all the crab apples, the fruit is edible and makes lovely jelly.
