This is the main picture from which the series of eight pictures derive. It shows the development of the Magnolia x soulangeana tree throughout a one year cycle.

Each picture in the series depicts one time of the year from winter to autumn. But I also wanted to convey how the tree changes by showing the whole life cycle in one view.
