This beautiful plant created a gentle carpet in the shady part of our garden in England. The flower spikes don’t emerge until late August and last all of September. Because each flower on the flower spike is so small, I chose to paint the spike twice its natural size, whilst the habit painting is actual size. Note the size scale.
