‘Sea thrift’ is a beautiful little plant seen along rocky and lower level mountainous areas. It seems to cling to the rocks whilst battered by the sea breeze. Initially the plant seems very insignificant until it flowers, but you can’t ignore it as the wind shakes the pink heads.

This painting was chosen as one to represent British artists in the Worldwide Botanical art exhibition in 2018.
