As with so many of my smalI pictures I started this piece to show students how beautiful black and white was and how it enhanced the beauty of this dry Hydrangea plant.
I had several Hydrangeas in my garden in the UK and the flowers were as beautiful (in a different way) whilst they were changing colour and drying for the winter, as when they were colourful in the summer.
