One day I needed a plant to draw in preparation for a workshop. I asked my husband to go to a florist and choose something simple so that I could draw it fairly quickly. He came home with this specimen saying he knew I liked challenges!
Whilst drawing it’s portrait, the stem put out roots. We kept it going throughout the winter and then put it into the garden in the spring. It became a healthy plant in the garden, but with blooms that were certainly smaller than this specimen.
