What is special about this Bramley tree? Bramley’s are considered very good cooking apples in the UK, but normally are very large trees and not suitable for smaller gardens. But a special tree was developed from the original Bramley, with shorter inter-nodal spaces, making for a smaller tree.
This picture was put together from drawings of such a tree that grows in the garden of the scientist who developed the smaller tree.
